I bought this for an abandoned cat that is currently living in our garage. It gets hot in there during the summer months and thought the cooling option would be our best bet at keeping it moderately cool in there for her. I think more than anything it just made it more humid, personally, worse than dry heat. But may end up being a good option for my house plants instead. We use it only on the fan mode now, which seems to work well. The oscillating feature is nice. I did make a mistake by filling one of the ice pack too full. It expanded and busted in the freezer, which was a bummer.I wish it worked like a cold ac but it does not, I keep replacing solid it packs and still no cold air. I'm sorry to say, for the price it should do what it says.It cools the room but blasts water out and gets everything wet.Couldn't get it assembled and there were no instructions
