I got this to use in my car on hot days (no AC). I tried it on a cooler day indoors and felt it would do the trick, but it absolutely is no better than a fan for real cooling, even for the first ten minutes (it’s about as good as a personal fan.) Its a great concept, but it just isn’t worth the money, or even the space it takes up. I already recycled the packaging, so I don’t feel good about returning it because I fear it will wind up in a landfill. The more effective solution, in case it’s of interest, was for me to wear an oversized, long-lasting cold pack for the duration of the ride.
