Product Description
The Eppendorf Storage Film comes with a high-strength adhesive that forms tight seals to minimize sample evaporation. These adhesive seals are easy to apply and don’t reduce the well volume (in contrast to mats that protrude into the wells). The transparent film allows you to see the samples. Since films are usually non-pierceable they provide good protection from accidental piercing.

Suitable for a temperature range from –20°C to 120°C
Possible influence of the adhesive on the sample has to be taken into consideration. For sensitive samples we recommend the use of heat sealing film/foil
For routine PCR applications we recommend to use Eppendorf PCR Films and Foils since Storage Films and Foils have higher evaporation rates when used in PCR. Nevertheless, if you want to store your PCR amplification at 4°C or –20°C we recommend the use of the Storage Film.
