I was disappointed. If you have ever stood in front of an electric AC, you can expect that level of coolness for about 10 min. until the thin ice pack melts. Water alone did not blow enough cool air for me to feel any relief.Didn't really blow cold air even with the frozen inserts. And the atomizer/humidifier didn't work - maybe I got a broken one. The nightlight was nice, but not what I bought it for.Instruction booklet is crap. Good luck getting the front drawer out. We almost broke it trying to slide it out. Good luck getting it to slide back in. We never could get back in. I'm returning it half open. We did turn the fan on & it didn't feel like it would reach very far. Save your money.Cheaply built fan, never got to use it, it was either broken when I got it, once I powered it on I heard the blades rattling and it never came on again100° days and no central air in our house. We have 3 portable air conditioner units that have been running non-stop, but they don’t really cool the kids’ rooms. Bought these to try and help keep them cool at night when they sleep, or when they just want their space.Comes with 4 ice packs, so you can always have 2 in the freezer and are able to switch them out as they start to thaw.All 3 kids have said they’re happy with them and glad to be able to have a cool breeze blowing on them!It works, however it leaks too much.... too much water ends up in the base when you are finished using it
